- 2 Lbs Chuck Roast
- .5 White Onion Sliced
- 5 Garlic Cloves minced
- 2.5 Tbsp Garlic & Herb Seasoning
- All Purpose Seasoning to taste
- 3 Whole Carrots chopped
- 4 Cups Beef Broth
- 2 Sprigs Thyme
- 2 Sprigs Rosemary
- 2 Sprigs Sage
- 4 Tbsp Salted Butter
- 2 Tbsp Flour

Preheat Oven to 350
Prepare your vegetables, chop your carrots, finely mince garlic cloves and slice your white onion. Set aside.
Season both sides of your chuck roast with garlic & herb seasoning & all purpose seasoning and drizzle with olive oil. Rub in your seasonings.
In a dutch oven on medium heat, drizzle in olive oil. Once hot, add in your chuck roast and sear on both sides for 3-5 minutes. Remove and add to a sheet tray.
Add butter to dutch oven, once melted go in with your prepped vegetables. Allow to saute and soften. De-glaze with red wine and add beef broth. Mix thoroughly, ensuring you get all the fond from the bottom.
Add chuck roast to a roaster and pour over vegetables and broth. Add in aromatics (thyme, rosemary and sage).
Cover and bake in oven for 3 hours.
After time has elapsed, remove 3/4Cups of the braising liquid, add to a small sauce pan on medium heat. Add in flour and mix until thickens.
