Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

Strawberry Stuffed French Toast is a great way to elevate your next brunch. Made using Kings Hawaiian Rolls, strawberry cream cheese and fresh berries.

Ingredients

  • Kings Hawaiian Rolls: I like to use these rolls specifically because they are naturally sweet and soft and perfected for stuffing the inside.
  • Coffee Creamer: Instead of using milk, coffee creamer works best for me, adding extra flavor to the bread.
  • Strawberry Cream Cheese: Providing an authentic strawberry taste as well as smooth texture for your filling.
  • Extracts: Using Lemon and Vanilla Extract, both of these play a pivotal part in adding a unique flavor to your French toast mixture.
  • Spices & Sugars: Nutmeg and Cinnamon Sugar are essential in balancing out the sweetness of this dish, while adding a great aroma and taste.
  • Powdered Sugar & Berries: Used as a garnish for the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast. Adds a depth of freshness as well as a beautiful aesthetic.

How To Make Strawberry Stuffed French Toast?

  • Making French Toast Mixture: In a medium bowl you want to mix 1.5 cups coffee creamer, nutmeg, lemon extract, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, cinnamon sugar. Whisk to combine & set aside.
  • Making Strawberry Cream Filling: In a small bowl combine, strawberry cream cheese, powdered sugar, 1 tbsp vanilla extract & 1 tbsp french vanilla coffee creamer. Mix until you get yogurt consistency. (Add more coffee creamer to loosen).
  • Add filling to a baking injector, inject each roll until it starts to plump up.
  • Making French Toast: Add your rolls to your french toast mixture and coat each side. In a non stick pan on medium low heat melt butter & add rolls. Flip every 2-3 minutes until each side of the roll has reached a golden brown color.
  • Garnishing with berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries & blackberries). Sift over your powdered sugar for the finishing touch.
