- 1 Lb Squid Tubes & Tentacles
- 2 Cups Buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
- 2½ Cup Flour
- ½ Cup Corn Starch
- 1 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Natures Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper Optional
- Frying Oil
- Marinara Sauce
- Lemon Garnish
- Parsley Garnish

Cut squid tubes into rings and place in a large bowl along with tentacles.
Cover with buttermilk, salt, and hot sauce. Mix well, cover, and let marinate for 30-60 minutes.
In a separate large bowl, mix flour, corn starch, Cajun seasoning, Nature’s seasoning, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Strain the marinated squid, then toss in the flour mixture until fully coated. Place in a strainer or on a wire rack to remove excess flour.
Heat oil to 325-350°F and fry calamari in batches for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
Transfer to a paper towel-lined baking pan and sprinkle with salt to taste.
Garnish with parsley and a lemon wedge. Serve warm with marinara sauce and ENJOY!
