Equipment

  • Spatula
  • Baking Dish 11x14
  • Kitchen Towel
  • Large Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Food Brush

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 10 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Cup Warm Milk
  • 1 Egg Whisked
  • 1 packet Yeast RapidRise
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • Vegetable Oil Spray

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together warm milk and honey. Sprinkle in the yeast, stir, and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add 4 tbsp melted butter and the whisked egg. Mix until combined.
  • Gradually fold in 2.5 cups of flour, ½ cup at a time, until a dough ball forms.
  • Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, adding more flour as needed until dough is no longer sticky.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down dough and place it back on the floured surface. Divide into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls.
  • Arrange in a buttered baking dish. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes.
  • Brush rolls with 4 tbsp melted butter and bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • While rolls bake, prepare honey butter by melting 2 tbsp butter and mixing in ¼ cup honey.
  • Once rolls are out of the oven, brush generously with honey butter. Serve warm and enjoy!
