Cowboy Baked Beans Ingredients

Ground Chuck 80/20 works just fine, can also use leaner ground beef, if you prefer.

Andouille Sausage I use Hillshire Farm Cajun Style Andouille Smoked Sausage, adds a good kick of heat as well as the smoky flavor of a smoked sausage. You can use regular andouille sausage or smoked sausage if you don’t prefer the heat.

Liquid Smoke adds a great smokiness to the dish. A few drops go a long way, so be sure to only use a few drops to not change the flavor too much. Its optional if you don’t prefer it or cant find at your local grocery store.

Beans you can never go wrong with Busch Baked Beans, does a lot of the hard work for you. As far as, flavor, prepping beans and texture. You can use whichever flavors you prefer, I keep it simple with Original and Honey Sweet. Also, feel free to substitute Busch Baked Beans with: Kidney Beans, Cannellini White or Pork and Beans.
